At Tuft’s University, they have a standing order to NEVER plug in a soda/beverage machine directly into an outlet; all vending machines MUST be plugged into a VendingMiser device. Signs like these are located on the wall next to the vending machine(s).  Tuft’s found out that the vending company who services and fills the machines send new and different personnel from time to time. They also realized that vending machines get swapped out for different or newer equipment and the persons didn’t always connect the new machine to the Vending Miser unit. They had these signs made specifically so everyone had a clear visual of exactly what to do.
